Over 30 years of experience in dentistry
Graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Latvian Medical Academy in 1993, obtaining a qualification as a dentist.
From 1999 to 2002, she pursued doctoral studies at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, with her research focusing in depth on oral mucosal diseases and their treatment options.
Dr Ingrīda Krasta is one of Latvia’s most experienced and highly respected specialists in oral mucosal diseases. In her clinical practice, she focuses particularly on the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal conditions, including complex and persistent clinical cases.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Krasta has extensive academic and teaching experience, contributing to the education and professional training of future dentists and sharing her knowledge and practical expertise with new generations of dental professionals. Dr Ingrīda Krasta is a highly respected member of Latvia’s academic and professional dental community.
Her professional portfolio includes 18 scientific and professional publications on oral mucosal diseases, oral medicine, oral health and other areas of dentistry. Her scientific interests are particularly focused on oral mucosal diseases.
Throughout her career, she has continuously expanded her professional expertise through an extensive programme of seminars, conferences, congresses and international training in Latvia and abroad. She has participated in Latvian and international dental and medical congresses, scientific conferences and professional exchange programmes.
Dr Ingrīda Krasta’s professional work is distinguished by extensive clinical experience, in – depth expertise in oral medicine and the ability to assess even complex cases of oral mucosal disease. Her longstanding clinical, academic and scientific work has established her as one of the leading specialists in this field in Latvia.
