30 years of experience in dentistry
In 1996, she graduated from the Latvian Medical Academy, obtaining her degree in Dentistry.
In 1999, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the Latvian Medical Academy in Riga, earning the qualification of Prosthodontist.
In 2009, she defended her doctoral dissertation at Rīga Stradiņš University on ceramic restorations and tooth-coloured composite restorations, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (Dr. med.).
She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry of Rīga Stradiņš University, where she teaches undergraduate dental students in the field of prosthodontics.
With 30 years of clinical experience, she is committed to continuous professional development by regularly attending international courses and scientific congresses, as well as supervising and reviewing student research projects.
Her clinical practice includes restorative dentistry and prosthodontics with both fixed and removable restorations on natural teeth and dental implants. She has extensive experience in aesthetic prosthodontics, including ceramic veneers and all-ceramic crowns, with a strong focus on achieving natural, functional, and long-lasting results.
Outside of dentistry, she finds inspiration in nature and appreciates the beauty of simplicity. She enjoys travelling, discovering new places, hiking in the mountains, skiing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding.
