Under the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility program, the Adenta clinic has digitalized its patient and clinic interaction processes, ensuring:
- Digital patient registration for appointments using self-service kiosks;
- Ability for patients to make payments for services via self-service kiosks;
- Digital completion of consent forms, questionnaires, and surveys by patients;
- Digital signing and sending of invoices to patients via email;
- Digital signing of contracts intended for patients.
The implementation of the self-service and electronic document completion system has improved:
1. Working conditions for clinic reception employees by significantly reducing the time required for routine procedures such as:
- Patient registration for appointments;
- Processing patient payments;
- Preparing necessary documents for patients.
2. Patient experience by:
- Reducing overall waiting times for registering for appointments and making payments for services received;
- Reducing waiting times in the clinic for scheduling future appointments;
- Minimizing waiting times for responses via phone or other digital communication methods;
- Increasing the time available for addressing non-standard issues for patients;
- Allocating more time for everyday, personalized communication with patients.
3. Efficiency in the use of natural resources by:
- Reducing paper consumption by at least 15,000 sheets annually;
- Decreasing the resources needed for document printing;
- Reducing the storage space required for printed materials.
This European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility program activity has been implemented within the framework of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency's project No. DIGI/2024/319.
